If you are traveling the world, you can take Xfinity Mobile with you. International roaming is supported for phones in over 215 destinations, where you can talk, text message, and use data — just like at home.
For the first 45 days after activation, you can only make calls to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and within any country you are visiting. After this period, you'll be able to call any country worldwide.
If you are already abroad and your phone displays “No Service”, you can manually select a service provider. Review the If you have roaming issues during international travel section below for more details.

International rates
Xfinity Mobile customers have international roaming calls and texts included with all plans at no additional cost. There are two ways you can pay for data when you’re traveling abroad — Global Travel Pass or pay-as-you-go.
Reminder — Xfinity Mobile does not charge for WiFi data you use while abroad. Using WiFi data from other service providers may save you money.
Global Travel Pass
Add Global Travel Pass to any phone line and pay a flat rate for data at $10 per day per line in over 215 covered destinations, or $5 per day per line in Mexico and Canada only. Global Travel Pass includes 5 GB of high-speed data per pass per day, then data is available at 3G speeds.
Notes:
- Global Travel Pass does not cover usage on cruise ships or airplanes.
- New Xfinity Mobile customers with unlimited data (either Premium Unlimited or Unlimited) have:
- Unlimited calls and texts to and from the United States, Mexico, and Canada included.
- Unlimited data when traveling in Mexico or Canada included.
- Customers are not charged for Global Travel Pass until they use data in a covered country.
Pay as you go
You can always pay as you go for each megabyte of data used while abroad. The rate is $0.30 per MB of data. This is your default international data option unless you add Global Travel Pass. Even if you have added Global Travel Pass, you will pay as you go in countries not covered by Global Travel Pass.

Before you travel internationally
Step one: Turn on international data roaming
You can check if international data roaming is already enabled on your Xfinity Mobile lines under International travel in the Activity tab in the Xfinity app or Xfinity Mobile account online.
To qualify for international data roaming, you need to complete and pay for at least one Xfinity Mobile bill cycle (military personnel are exempt) and cannot have a past-due balance on your account.
If you meet these requirements, international data roaming will be enabled on your Xfinity Mobile line automatically when adding Global Travel Pass.
Step two: Prepare your device
Make sure your device is enabled for data roaming. You must do this through your device’s settings.
Step three: Search rates
Search ahead of time to see the pay-as-you-go rate for each country you are going to, or if that country is covered by Global Travel Pass.
If you have roaming issues during international travel
Try turning on airplane mode for about 30 seconds. Then turn off airplane mode and let your phone automatically select the best network.
