Turn on roaming for your line

If you’re on our latest plans: Enable international data roaming for your phone line in ”International travel” on the Activity tab of your Xfinity Mobile account. 

If you add Global Travel Pass: International data roaming will automatically be enabled.

How do I know if I get international coverage included?

If you’re on one of our latest plans (Mobile Select or Mobile Plus) or our Premium Unlimited plan, you get unlimited data, talk, and text included for 215+ destinations. You don't need to add a daily pass; your phone is designed to "just work" the moment you land.

If you’re not on our latest plans, add Global Travel Pass ($10/day) or Canada and Mexico Unlimited Pass ($5/mo), or upgrade your plan to unlock these travel benefits.

You can check the coverage available with your plan in “International travel” on the Activity tab of your Xfinity Mobile account online.

Which locations aren’t covered?

While we cover the vast majority of popular travel spots globally, a small handful fall outside our inclusive list of 215+ destinations. In these areas (including on cruise ships), you will automatically be charged "pay-as-you-go" rates if you have roaming enabled on your device.

Are calls and texts included?

International roaming calls and texts are included with all Xfinity Mobile plans. That means you can call and text any covered destination (including the US) while you’re traveling abroad at no extra cost. Stay in touch with friends and family back home or coordinate local plans without worrying about per-minute or per-message charges. This feature is "always on" and doesn't require separate activation.

When you’re in the US, you can send texts to any destination at no extra cost and make international calls from the US to Mexico and Canada at no extra cost. Call other countries at per-minute rates. Check rates here

Xfinity Mobile offers incredible value for travelers. Will I still be charged for Global Travel Pass when I return to the US?

No, Global Travel Pass can remain on the line and you will not be charged for new sessions when you are in the United States.
