Kids Zone Settings on X1

Kids Zone is a feature that offers a safe environment for children to browse and watch live TV, XFINITY On Demand content and DVR recordings that are appropriate for kids ages 12 and under.

This article explains how to access and navigate your Kids Zone preferences, most of which can be toggled on or off via the feature’s Settings menu. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to highlight the settings you want to activate or deactivate, and press OK.

Note: Kids Zone is only available to XFINITY X1 customers at this time.

Restricting Content by Age Range

  1. Highlight the Settings wheel icon in the top left corner, and press the OK button on your remote.

  2. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to highlight Restrict Content by Age Range, and press OK.

  3. Highlight an age range, such as Age 10-12, and press OK.

  4. If successful, the accompanying lock indicator will turn blue.
