Xfinity Sports Zone: what is it?

Xfinity Sports Zone is the sports destination where you can find games, news, and highlights all in one place—all on your TV. You can even set up notifications for your favorite teams and get breaking news alerts for your favorite leagues. Just say "Sports" into your Xfinity Voice Remote to get started, or “Sports Notifications” to stay up to date with every detail about the teams you love!

Return of Sports: How to Watch with Xfinity

While the Sports Zone app has all the latest scores and stats and can take you directly to your favorite sports channels, Xfinity X1 also provides you many ways to experience all the live sports you’ve been missing, including:

Baseball - The MLB is already back, and you can make sure you don’t miss a single pitch with MLB Network and MLB Extra Innings. Experience all that baseball has to offer – every game, fastball, curveball, and unexpected victory.

Basketball - The NBA is returning on July 30th, and you can catch games across multiple channels available on Xfinity – Including ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV.

Hockey - Hockey returns on August 1st with the Stanley Cup qualifiers on NBC and NBCSN.

Football - One of the most exciting moments you’ve been waiting for – The NFL regular season will kick-off on September 10th. And you can catch all the action with the NFL Network or NFL RedZone. With the NFL Network, you can see every Thursday Night Football game. Or with NFL RedZone, you get access to an all-in-one channel where fans can watch 7 hours of live football and see every touchdown from every game, every Sunday.

Soccer - If you’re looking to partake in some overseas action – you can catch the Premier League on Peacock this September. As an Xfinity X1 customer, you now have unlimited access to Peacock Premium at no additional cost to you. And – you can catch more than 175 exclusive Premier League Matches in 2020-2021 with your unlimited access. Just say “Peacock” into your X1 voice remote.

Some sporting events will be available to view in 4K. Customers can use their Xfinity Voice Remote to say "4K" (or search "4K") to be taken to a 4K UHD landing page that displays all 4K programming available. Upcoming 4K events include:

  • College football, 28 games (ESPN/2, FOX/FS1, NBC), Sept. 12-Jan. 11
  • English Premier League, 38 games (NBC, NBC SN), Sept. 12-May 23
  • NFL Thursday Night Football, 11 games (FOX), 10/8-12/17

Sports on Peacock
