December 3, 2025

In order to succeed in the evolving EV charging industry, property owners and fleet operators need the right infrastructure, technology and partners. Watch as our Sr. Director Jake Purcell joins Matt Schaeffer, GTM Manager at EV Connect, to discuss how the right EV charging network can impact your business and future-proof your charging strategy in an evolving market.

The electric vehicle market is constantly changing as demand rises and policies shift, but consumers have made it clear that EVs are here to stay. Building and supporting the right EV infrastructure is key, but it’s much more than simply installing charging pedestals. To gain a true competitive advantage and offer the best possible solution, businesses need to think strategically about selecting the right hardware and software, while also considering logistics like grid capacity, zoning, and charger placement.

Jake Purcell, Comcast Smart Solutions’ Sr. Director, joins Matt Schaeffer, EV Connect’s GTM Manager, to discuss how businesses can embrace EV charging networks to impact business and future-proof their property.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to deploying the right EV charging network. Businesses and communities need to think about objectives and considerations, including who it is serving, the kind of experience they want to provide, and if they also want to help generate potential revenue opportunities.

From intuitive design and dynamic pricing to loyalty programs, payment integrations, and grid evaluation, every detail matters. Successful EV charging solutions need serve their customers today and be able to scale for long-term success.

In the onset, I think having a good partner that you can bounce ideas off of and begin to develop that business strategy, business model, business case, to get that approved and developed and across the finish line is key. And then all of the other deployment things are solvable problems—although complex and complicated. But the right partners are going to have the expertise and be able to deploy that for you at scale and think about the more holistic vision of what you're trying to achieve from an EV charging program.
