- Create a strong password for your account using a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.Avoid using personal information in your password and remember that a longer password is better for security.
- Update your contact information with a personal email address, mobile phone number, and secret question. Having this information listed on your Xfinity account will make it easy in case you ever need to recover your password.
- Enroll in two-step verification for signing in to your apps and xfinity.com/myaccount. This helps protect your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your Xfinity username and password. If you enroll in two-step verification, you’ll receive a verification code via text to your mobile phone or an email sent to a another email address (such as Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo). Once you enter the verification code you’ll be all set.
