It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to make sure your account is secure and protected.

  1. Create a strong password for your account using a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.Avoid using personal information in your password and remember that a longer password is better for security.

  2. Update your contact information with a personal email address, mobile phone number, and secret question. Having this information listed on your Xfinity account will make it easy in case you ever need to recover your password.

  3. Enroll in two-step verification for signing in to your apps and xfinity.com/myaccount. This helps protect your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your Xfinity username and password. If you enroll in two-step verification, you’ll receive a verification code via text to your mobile phone or an email sent to a another email address (such as Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo). Once you enter the verification code you’ll be all set.
