If you have another phone with the latest software, you can use quick transfer to set up your new device automatically. You don’t need to use the Xfinity app to transfer service.
Tip: Quick transfer uses both devices at the same time, so pick a time when you don’t need your old device for a few minutes.
Before you start
- Connect your device to WiFi and Bluetooth.
- Make sure Number Lock is turned off.
- Make sure your devices have the latest operating system and software.
- Make sure that the source device has a device screen lock such as PIN, Pattern, etc. enabled
- You may need either your Apple ID, Samsung ID, and/or your Google ID and password.
