Your Xfinity payment is due by the date noted at the top of your bill. If you haven’t made payment by this due date, Xfinity will send you a late payment notification, and you may also be charged a late fee on your next bill.
Xfinity knows that sometimes life events can prevent you from making your payment on time. To help in these moments, Xfinity is offering a credit toward your previously incurred late fee when you make a payment toward your past due balance and set up automatic payments for your future bills.
If you have multiple late fees, only one will be credited. If you’re making a one-time payment without automatic payment enrollment, you aren’t eligible for a credit.
How to request your late fee credit
- Sign in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password.
- Click the Get Started banner. It only displays if you’re eligible for the credit.

- Select your preferred amount for a one-time payment for your past due balance.

- Select the checkbox next to "Turn on automatic payments using [card info]" to enroll.

- Click Done after reviewing your confirmation of enrollment.

Your late free credit applies after your first automatic payment posts. For now, your one-time payment applies toward your balance once posted.
