‘We La Gente’: Hispanic Heritage Month like never before
Beginning on September 15th (just days before Constitution Day), Hispanic Heritage Month is a yearly event honoring the Hispanic community in America. Hispanics have played an integral role in forming the cultural fabric of the United States— it has been this way for generations and has given way to an enriched American society.
“We La Gente” tells the stories of real members of the Hispanic community in America through the message of America’s most important document: The United States Constitution. By recreating the Preamble of the Constitution in both Spanish & English and asking our Hispanic community to relay to others what the Constitution means to them, “We La Gente” is a campaign focused on celebrating this area of American life.
