This document provides instructions on what to do if you receive the "Sorry, that didn't go as planned; Gateway Restart Needed" error message when activating your WiFi Extenders from the Xfinity app.
Solution code
If you receive this error message, perform a manual restart on your gateway. To manually restart your Gateway, unplug the power cord, wait 10 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
