- Press the xfinity button on your remote.
- Navigate to the gear icon and then press OK to go to Settings.
- On the following menu, get to Privacy and press OK.
- Go to Locally stored data and press OK.
- You'll see a confirmation window. Press OK to clear locally stored data.
- Notes:
- Clearing locally stored data may sign you out of apps and may affect apps on devices linked to your account.
- Re-launching apps may store new data on your TV Box.
- Notes:
- You'll see a confirmation message once cookies and locally stored data have been cleared from your TV Box.
Clearing locally stored data — Xumo Stream Box
- Press the home button on your remote.
- Navigate to Settings by selecting the settings icon from the home screen or saying “Settings” into your Voice Remote.
- Select Settings again.
- Select System management.
- Scroll down to Resets and updates.
- Select Locally stored data.
- Select Yes, clear now.

What type of data and information gets cleared from the TV Box when I clear locally stored data?
Only the information related to third-party apps you use is cleared.
- Examples include log-in credentials, resume points, gameplay save states and other temporary files written by third-party applications.
- Clearing this data may result in losing progress on some games and/or require you to log back into an application.
- DVR recordings are not deleted.
Are DVR recordings affected?
No, clearing locally stored data doesn't delete DVR recordings.
