Change the X1 Mini Guide View

Use these steps to change the view of the Mini Guide for Xfinity X1.

Display Mini Guide Over Video

  1. Press the xfinity button on your remote.
  2. Use the left or right arrow buttons on the remote to navigate to the Settings (gear) icon. Then press OK.
  3. Use the up or down arrow buttons to highlight Preferences and press OK.
  4. Highlight General and press OK.
  5. Turn the Display Mini Guide Over Video option on or off and press OK.
  6. Press Exit when finished.
  7. After returning to live TV, press the right arrow button to access the Mini Guide.
    • When Display Mini Guide Over Video is set to On, the Mini Guide overlays on top of full video.
      When Display Mini Guide Over Video is turned on, the channel grid appears the right of the screen overlaying that part of the picture.
    • When Display Mini Guide Over Video is set to Off, the Mini Guide displays to the right of letterboxed video.
      When Display Mini Guide Over Video is turned off, the channel grid appears the right of the screen, but the picture is letterboxed and shifted to the left two-thirds of the screen.
  8. Press Exit to exit the Mini Guide.
