If you sign up for Paramount+ using your Xfinity X1 TV Box or Xumo Stream Box, Xfinity will bill you, and you can manage your subscription right from your TV Box. This includes viewing and changing your plan, or canceling your subscription.
If you’re an existing Paramount+ customer, you’ll still be billed by Paramount. You can log in to your Paramount+ account on X1 or Xumo by using your existing username and password. However, you’ll need to visit the Paramount website to manage your subscription.

Check the status of your Paramount+ subscription
If Xfinity bills you for Paramount+, you can check your subscription details on your TV Box.
- Go to Settings on your Xfinity X1 TV Box or Xumo Stream Box.
- Go to the Apps & Subscription Management menu.
- You can also say “Manage Paramount Plus” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to get there quickly.
- The monthly or yearly price.
- The renewal date.
- Options to manage or cancel your subscription.
Change your Paramount+ subscription
To change your Paramount+ subscription through Xfinity:
- Check your subscription status using the steps above.
- Pick a new plan.
- Select Change Plan.
Note: If you upgrade, you'll be charged a partial amount on your Xfinity account immediately based on your new plan. If you downgrade, your new lower price will start on your next bill.
Cancel your Paramount+ subscription
To cancel your Paramount+ subscription through Xfinity:
- Check your subscription status using the steps above.
- Select Unsubscribe.
- On the next screen, select Unsubscribe again to confirm.
- After canceling, you'll still have access to your subscription until the date shown on the screen. You won’t be charged again.
Want to come back?
- You can resubscribe anytime before your billing cycle ends. Just go back to the subscription page and select Resubscribe.
- If your subscription already ended, you can sign up again through the Paramount+ app on your X1 TV Box or Xumo Stream Box.

If you remove X1 or Xumo: You can’t watch Paramount+ on your TV Box anymore. You’ll need to use a phone, computer, or another device.
If you cancel Xfinity Internet: You’ll need internet from another provider to keep watching Paramount+.
If you still have at least one Xfinity service: You’ll keep getting billed for Paramount+ on your Xfinity bill.
If you cancel all Xfinity services: You’ll lose access to Paramount+. You can sign up again using another device.
Note: If you no longer have an X1 TV Box or Xumo Stream Box, contact Xfinity to cancel your Paramount+ subscription. We can’t upgrade or downgrade your subscription. Once cancelled, you can sign up again for the plan that you want at paramountplus.com.
