How do I access voicemail on my Android phone?

Xfinity knows your voicemails are important and they want to make it easy for you to access them. There are multiple ways to get to them. You can: 

• Use the Android Phone app.
• Use the Xfinity Mobile Voicemail app.
• Use your phone's dial pad.
• Call your number from another phone.

Using the Android Phone app

The Android operating system comes with a built-in way to:

• Listen to your voicemail messages.
• Read transcribed messages.
• Manage your voicemail inbox.

To manage your messages: 

1. Go to the phone’s dial pad through the phone app.
2. Tap the envelope icon at the bottom of the screen to take you to your voicemail.
3. Read or listen to your messages here.
   • From this screen you can also save, or delete, any messages.

You can also tap the notification for the voicemail to get to this same place in the phone app. 

Using the Xfinity Mobile Voicemail app

The Xfinity Mobile Voicemail app comes installed on older Android phones sold by Xfinity Mobile. It can be found within Applications. The app already knows it’s you, so there’s no need to sign in. However, if for any reason it doesn't recognize you, you will be asked to sign in when opening the app for the first time.

To sign in, enter your primary Xfinity ID and password.

Once you access your voicemail, you can:

• Listen to messages in any order.
• Create a custom greeting within Settings.
• Read transcribed messages. 

If you aren't connected to the internet, you can’t access new voicemails or use some features in the app. In this case, use the other options here to access your voicemail.

Using your phone's dial pad

There are three ways to access your voicemail using your phone's dial pad. You can:

• Press and hold 1.
• Dial *86.
• Dial your mobile number.

Voicemail setup

The first time calling into voicemail: 

1. Follow the steps to create a voicemail PIN. 
2. Record your name.
3. Set up a greeting. 
4. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages or change your personal options.

Using another phone 

To use another phone number:

1. Dial your mobile number from any phone.
2. Press # when your greeting starts to play.
3. Enter your PIN.
4. Follow the prompts to access voicemails or change options.

Before you can access voicemail from another phone, you have to access it from your Xfinity Mobile phone first. To do so, follow the dial pad steps above to set up your voicemail.
