Changing the input on your TV is easy to do using an Xfinity remote. You might also be able to do this with the remote that came with your TV. Changing the input helps you switch between connected devices, such as a TV Box, game system, or streaming device.
The input or source is where the device is plugged into on your TV. For example, if your TV Box is plugged into the HDMI 1 port on your TV, the input you will select to view the TV Box is HDMI 1.
Changing your TV Input or Source
Press the Input or Source button on the remote to open the input menu.
- Use the Arrows or Input/Source button to highlight the input you want.
- Press OK, Select, or Enter to confirm
- If the picture doesn’t change, repeat the steps and make sure the .input is selected.
- If you still don’t see a picture, see Troubleshooting TV with no signal, no picture, or black/blue screen.
- If you’re having TV or remote issues, contact the manufacturer for help.
