On October 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Comcast’s agreement to carry ABTV regional sports network (RSN) expired. As a result, the following teams’ local games are no longer available with Xfinity or Comcast Business, including on Xfinity Stream. Customers also won’t be able to choose “Xfinity” or use their Xfinity ID with the ABTV app.
- LA Angels (MLB)
- LA Kings (NHL)
Note: Nationally televised games available on channels carried by Xfinity are not affected.
These teams’ local games were previously available on FanDuel West RSN. Earlier this year, Main Street Sports Group, owner of FanDuel Sports Networks, shut down its RSN operations because many of their teams’ broadcast rights reverted to their respective team or league. In this case, the LA Angels acquired the former FanDuel West RSN.

FAQs
Why aren’t these local games available?
Comcast no longer has an agreement to carry ABTV and, as a result, cannot carry the local game broadcasts for the LA Angels and the LA Kings.
Comcast understands the value that sports content has for some customers and wants to make as much sports content as possible available for those who want it. For more information on how programming agreements work, head to xfinity.com/howitworks.
Note: Since the LA Angels are not playing in the post season, they are not airing any games currently.
Does this mean I can’t watch any games for these teams on Xfinity?
No. Nationally televised games remain available on channels carried in your Xfinity TV package. It’s only local game broadcasts that are currently not available through Xfinity. Availability can vary due to local rights restrictions.
Can I watch the local games on any other Xfinity services, like Xfinity Stream?
No. Because Xfinity cannot carry these local broadcasts currently, they are not available through Xfinity Stream.
This also means you won’t be able to choose “Xfinity” or use their Xfinity ID with the ABTV app.
Does NHL Center Ice include these local games?
No. NHL Center Ice is for out-of-market games, so local games (which are subject to blackout restrictions) are not available with NHL Center Ice.

What will happen to my scheduled DVR recordings?
You can still watch anything you’ve already recorded, but your DVR won’t record any unavailable programming channels. However, if this programming is restored, your settings will be saved, and recordings will resume.
