We are excited to introduce “For You”, a new section of Xfinity On Demand, that makes it easier for Xfinity X1 customers to jump back into the TV shows and movies they’ve already been enjoying and to discover new programming that might be of interest.
The easiest way to find For You is by saying “For Me” into the Xfinity Voice Remote or by tapping the Xfinity button and then selecting On Demand. “For You” will be the first tab and here customers will find content they’ve recently watched or favorited; current popular shows and movies recommended based on what they’ve watched or favorited; and programming suggestions based on what’s trending in their area.
If customers prefer not to receive entertainment recommendations based on what they’ve recently watched, they can turn this feature off by saying “Preferences” into the voice remote and turning off “Recommendations Based on History.” They’ll still see the “For You” section within Xfinity On Demand, but it will not be based on content they’re watching on X1.
