Fall TV: returning favorites and new series premieres

Some returning fall TV favorites include super-popular series such as The CW’s RIVERDALE, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, FOX’s 9-1-1, and NBC’s This is Us:

RIVERDALE

Based on the characters from the Archie Comics, RIVERDALE is a bold and subversive take on the wholesome town of RIVERDALE and some of its teen residents, including Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead, as they discover the darkness and dangers that bubble underneath their town’s wholesome façade.

Grey’s Anatomy

This medical drama follows the personal and professional lives of the doctors at Seattle's Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, including the cunning Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and her inspiring trials and triumphs.

9-1-1

This FOX series chronicles the lives and careers of emergency response providers who put their lives at risk to save others. The provocative series from creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause and Golden Globe® nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt (The Client List, Ghost Whisperer).

This is Us

This series chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as young parents in the 1980s to their 37-year-old kids, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) searching for love and fulfillment in the present day.

If you’re looking for something new to watch this season, you’re in luck— new series like NBC’s Bluff City Law, and FOX’s Prodigal Son are premiering this September, as well as ABC’s Mixed-ish, The CW’s Batwoman (premiering in October), and more!
