How to find kids’ movies On Demand

If you’re an Xfinity customer, here’s how to find your favorite Halloween movies and shows on Xfinity On Demand.

Step 1
Use the On Demand menu to start your search for kids’ programming to watch, rent, or buy.

Step 2
Find a movie or show by selecting the Search button from the On Demand main menu. Enter a program title, actor, director, keyword, or channel name.

Step 3
Review the motion picture rating listed on the Xfinity On Demand screen. Every movie includes the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) content rating that classifies films based on “sex, violence, substance abuse, profanity, impudence, or other types of mature content.” You can use Xfinity’s Movie Locks to set parental controls, with a lock PIN to keep film choices appropriate for your children.

Be sure to read Xfinity’s Common Sense Media section listed under every kids’ movie. To make sure parents have the best information on programming, Xfinity partners with Common Sense Media to give age-appropriate ratings in addition to the MPAA content rating. That way, you can make the most informed decision on what your children watch.

Step 4
Choose to rent or buy. You can either rent or buy an Xfinity On Demand movie by pressing the OK button — and don’t forget to check the rental period. A new screen will appear indicating the rental period available for the program.

Step 5
Select high definition or standard definition. You will be shown the price for either choice when you scroll over using the right or left arrow.

Step 6
Just hit play. With dozens of kids’ programs and movies to choose from, the real challenge will be getting your little ones to agree on a favorite. Luckily, your kids have the whole month to enjoy them all! Happy Halloween!
