Want to change the default language of Xfinity Email? No problem – just follow a few simple steps to change the language to English or Spanish.
Change the Default Language in Xfinity Email
- Once in Xfinity Email, click the Settings icon, which looks like a gear.
- Note: You must be on the Email tab.

- Select Email Settings.
- Select Basic settings.
- Click the down arrow in the Language selector to choose your desired language.
- Click the Reload page (Actualizar página) link or refresh your browser for the new language setting to take effect.
- You're all set!
When you make these changes, remember:
- Language settings in Xfinity Email will automatically match the language settings of your Internet browser.
- Changing the language of Xfinity Email will override these settings.
- Changing the language settings in Xfinity Email will change the language in the Mail and Address Book tabs.
- It won't change the settings of the Voice tab.
