Email storage limits — Xfinity Email

Your Xfinity Email comes with 10 GB of email storage.

Over time, if you have emails with large attachments, you may reach your storage limit, which might cause you to be unable to send or receive emails. You can review the amount of storage you're using by clicking on the gear icon on the Xfinity Email website.

Review your available storage space

  1. Sign in to Xfinity Email using your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Click the gear icon to bring up the menu and review the Email Usage meter.

If you're running low on space, you can save large attachments on your computer or mobile device by following the instructions below:

  1. Sort your email by size from the Sort by drop-down menu.

  2. Download large attachments from emails to your computer.
    • Begin by opening the large messages.
    • Click the Download button located at the top of each message.
    • This will allow you to save the attached files.

  3. Delete these emails from your Xfinity Email account.
    • To delete messages after the attachments are downloaded, click Delete at the top of the message.

  4. Empty trash.
    • Trash can be emptied by selecting the hamburger menu next to the trash folder and selecting Empty Trash.
