Turn on Voice Control in the Xfinity X1 Settings menu to use your Xfinity Voice Remote.
Note: Voice Control is on by default. If it’s turned off, follow these steps to turn it back on.
Turn On Voice Control
- Press the Xfinity button on the Voice Remote.
- Note: For remotes without an Xfinity button, press the Home button to open the Settings.
- Scroll to the gear icon, then press OK on your remote to open the Settings menu.
- Choose Remote Settings, then press OK.
- Select Voice Control, then press OK to choose On or Off.
