The screen is blank
- Tap the screen to confirm it's not in sleep mode.
- If your touchscreen has side buttons or a Home button underneath the screen area, press one to confirm the touchscreen is not in sleep mode.
- Confirm the touchscreen is plugged in to a working power outlet that's not controlled by a light switch.
- If it is plugged in, unplug the touchscreen from the power outlet, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
- If it is not plugged in, the touchscreen is running on battery backup and the screen automatically turns off to save battery life.
- Plug the touchscreen into a working power outlet that's not controlled by a light switch.
- If the screen is still blank, contact us.
The touchscreen doesn't look right
- Unplug the touchscreen from the power outlet, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in.
- If it does not get better, contact us.
The touchscreen displays an alert

I want to check the touchscreen's internet connection
If your touchscreen loses internet connection, you will get a message to help you troubleshoot.

I need to restart the touchscreen
You usually don’t need to restart your touchscreen unless Xfinity Home support tells you to. Learn how to restart your touchscreen.
Weather isn't working
- Confirm the touchscreen is connected to the internet.

- Wait 15 to 20 minutes.
- When the internet connection is working, the weather is automatically updates about every 15 minutes.
- If the weather is still not working, contact us.
I can't hear my touchscreen
If you can't hear your touchscreen, adjust the volume or turn on the Keypad chime.
