Learn what to do if you have a problem with a Centralite thermostat connected to your Xfinity Home system.
You will need
- Xfinity Home
- Access to the thermostat that you are having trouble with
Thermostat will not pair with Xfinity Home
- Make sure the thermostat has been set up and tested before you start pairing.
- If you need help, reach out to us.
- Make sure that the network icon on the thermostat is blinking.
- If it is not blinking, reset the thermostat.
- Try to pair your thermostat again.
Reset my thermostat
- Carefully take off the thermostat cover.
- While pressing the Hold button, press and release the black Reset button at the top-left of the thermostat.
- When the temperature appears on the screen, let go of the Hold button.
- Put the thermostat cover back on.

- If you have had a low battery warning recently, learn how to replace the batteries in your thermostat.
- Reset the thermostat.

Replace all four batteries in your thermostat.
Thermostat battery did not last as long as expected
Replace all four batteries with lithium AA batteries or have an electrician or HVAC contractor connect a power or "C-wire" (common wire).
Thermostat will not turn on my heating and cooling system
