Xfinity Home touchscreens use cellular technology to deliver alarm events to the central monitoring station when a broadband connection is not available.
To make sure our touchscreens keep pace with changes to cellular networks, Xfinity upgraded cellular technology for select models with a replacement power adapter. The new power adapter is offered free of charge.
