Currently, Comcast does not have an agreement to carry several teams’ local games live broadcasts that are produced and distributed by the NHL. As a result, most of the following teams’ games are not available with Xfinity or Comcast Business, including NOW TV and Xfinity Stream:
- Minnesota Wild
- St. Louis Blues
- Carolina Hurricanes
- Columbus Blue Jackets
Note: Nationally televised games available on channels carried by Xfinity are not affected.
These teams’ local games were previously available on various FanDuel Sports Network regional sports networks (RSNs). Earlier this year, Main Street Sports Group (Main Street), owner of FanDuel RSNs, shut down its RSN operations because many of their teams’ broadcast rights reverted to their respective team or league.

FAQs
Why aren’t these local games available?
Comcast does not have an agreement with the NHL to carry the local game broadcasts for the Minnesota Wild, St. Louis Blues, Carolina Hurricanes, and Columbus Blue Jackets in the markets Comcast serves.
Comcast understands the value that sports content has for some customers, and it wants to make as much sports content as possible available for those who want it. However, it doesn’t want to make each customer pay for it, especially those who don’t watch. For more information on how programming agreements work, head to xfinity.com/howitworks.
Does this mean I can’t watch any games for these teams on Xfinity ?
No. Nationally televised games remain available on channels carried in your Xfinity TV package. It’s only local game broadcasts that are currently not available through Xfinity. Availability can vary due to local rights restrictions.
Can I watch the local games on any other Xfinity services, like Xfinity Stream ?
No. Because Xfinity cannot carry these local broadcasts currently, they are not available through Xfinity Stream or On Demand.
Will NHL Center Ice include these local games?
No. NHL Center Ice is for out-of-market games, so local games (which are subject to blackout restrictions) are not available with NHL Center Ice.
Where can I watch these local games?
