Xfinity Instant TV
An Xfinity-compatible cable modem or Wireless Gateway (Customers with Xfinity Internet service will have such compatible equipment already; customers can also lease or own this equipment)
A compatible computer or device with a browser installed
Your Xfinity ID and password

Don't Have an Xfinity ID? No problem! You'll get one when you activate your Xfinity Internet service, which we'll get to in a minute.

Preparing to Use Xfinity Instant TV

Let's get you ready to start using the Xfinity Instant TV.

If your in-home Xfinity WiFi network is already up and running, skip to step 2. Otherwise, the first thing you need to do is set up your in-home WiFi network.
- Install your Wireless Gateway.
- After installing your Gateway, activate your wireless network. Learn how to activate your Wireless Gateway.
Check the computers and devices you'll use to access the Xfinity Instant TV to make sure they're compatible.
- Make sure your computers meet the minimum requirements for the Xfinity Stream portal (www.xfinity.com/stream). Lean more about the minimum system requirements for the Xfinity Stream portal.
- Make sure your devices meet the minimum requirements for the Xfinity Stream app. Learn more about the minimum system requirements for the Xfinity Stream app.
If you want to access Xfinity Instant TV from your devices, download the Xfinity Stream app onto those devices.
- Android devices: Download from the Google Play Store.
- Apple devices: Download from the Apple App Store.
- Amazon devices: Download from Amazon.
- Roku devices: Download from the Roku Channel Store.
To start using Xfinity Instant TV, use your Xfinity ID and password to sign in to:
