We won't be the same without you, but if you really want to cancel your service with Xfinity Mobile, here's how.
If you have questions about cancelling your other Xfinity services, review how to cancel, pause, or move your Xfinity services.
Your Xfinity Mobile number can go with you
If you're leaving Xfinity Mobile for another service provider, you can just start your service with your new service provider. Nothing else to do. When you transfer your number, also known as porting, your Xfinity Mobile service will automatically be canceled.
Don't cancel while transferring a number
If you're transferring your number, don’t cancel your Xfinity Mobile service before activation with your new service provider. It stops the transfer request and you'll lose your number.
If you want to completely deactivate your service and aren't transferring to another service provider, contact us.

Request an Xfinity Mobile security PIN
When you contact your new service provider to transfer your number, they'll ask for an Xfinity Mobile security PIN. You may also hear this referred to as a “transfer” or “port out” PIN.
Xfinity Mobile online
Here's how to request your security PIN online:
- Sign in to your Xfinity Mobile account online and go to the Devices tab.
- Select the device associated with the mobile number you want to transfer to a new service provider.
- Scroll down the page to Transfer your number, cancel this line.
- Select Learn More.
- Select an active line.
- Send a one-time passcode (OTP) to that line.
- Enter the OTP and then select Confirm Code.
- Send yourself a text message that includes the security Pin.
The same security PIN can be used to transfer any number on your Xfinity Mobile account. It expires in 24 hours. If you don’t use the security PIN within the 24-hour window, you can follow the steps above to request another one.
Xfinity app
Here's how to request your security PIN through the Xfinity app:

- Chose the number from the drop-down menu, so we can send you a text message with your security PIN.
- Tap Send My PIN.
The same security PIN can be used to transfer any number on your Xfinity Mobile account. It expires in 24 hours. If you don’t use the security PIN within the 24-hour window, you can follow the steps above to request another one.
Contact your new service provider
Once you tell your new service provider you're transferring a number from Xfinity Mobile, you don't have to call us to cancel. When activation with your new service provider is complete, we’ll automatically cancel your Xfinity Mobile service for that line.

After you've canceled service
If you cancel an Unlimited data option line, data charges for the line you're canceling will be pro-rated based on where you are in your current bill cycle. We don't pro-rate By the Gig data charges.
If you canceled your Xfinity Mobile service and still owe a balance on your device payment plan, you have two options:
- Pay off the device in full, then contact us to unlock it. This is required if you plan to bring your device to your new service provider.
- Continue with the remaining monthly device payments, as long as you maintain Xfinity Internet, TV, or Voice service.
- If you cancel all Xfinity services, the remaining balance on your device will be due with your final Xfinity Mobile bill.
When you cancel all your Xfinity Mobile lines of service, you lose access to the My Account sections of xfinitymobile.com and the Xfinity Mobile Service Card within the Xfinity app.
