Additional information and disclosures
This program has a Benefit Portability Freeze that prevents a customer who is either new to LifeLine or new to Comcast from transferring to a different provider for the first 24 hours of their enrollment in the program.
This program also has an Enrollment Request Freeze that prevents a new customer applying for LifeLine from submitting an additional enrollment request for at least 30 days from the time the program administrator generates a new application packet as long as the program administrator has the customer’s name, residential service address, date of birth, last four digits of the SSN (where applicable), or Tribal identification. The freeze ends when the 30 days has passed, the administrator sends the final eligibility decision, or the customer or Comcast cancel the request.
Customers should be aware that a standalone broadband plan does not include voice service for making 911 calls. Customers must add either Voice or Xfinity Mobile service for 911 access.
