Activate or Disable Voice2Go with the Xfinity Connect App

Use the Xfinity Connect app to make outgoing calls with your Xfinity Voice number. Use up to four additional personal phone numbers, provided by Comcast, for you and your family to make outgoing calls and use the Advanced Call Forwarding service.

Note: If you are currently a Local With More or Unlimited Saver* subscriber, you'll need to upgrade to a qualifying level of Xfinity Voice in order to be eligible for Voice2Go.

Activate Voice2Go Using the Xfinity Connect App

  1. Download the Xfinity Connect app from the Google Play store or iTunes.
  2. If you are eligible for Voice2Go, you'll automatically be directed to a setup page when you launch the Xfinity Connect app. If you dismiss the prompt to enable Voice2Go setup, you can bring it back up by pressing the Dialer button on the bottom tray of the Xfinity Connect app.
  3. Tap on Get Started.

  4. After signing up, you'll have the option to activate both Outbound Calls and Incoming Calls.

  5. Read the Terms & Conditions, and then press Accept.
    The Voice 2go terms and conditions are presented with an option to
     
  6. On the confirmation screen, the blue text will appear contextually depending on your choice to activate Inbound or Outbound calling, or both.
    The Voice 2go congratulations screen summarizes your selections for inbound and outbound calls. OK button at the bottom of the window.
     

Local With More Customers

If you are currently a Local With More or Unlimited Saver* subscriber, you'll need to upgrade to a qualifying level of Xfinity Voice in order to be eligible for Voice2Go.

Disable Incoming Calls

You cannot deactivate Voice2Go for the primary user; however, you can disable incoming calls to the Xfinity Connect app:
  1. Press the Menu icon Menu Icon, looks like three lines at top left and select Settings.
  2. Select Call Preferences and then Call Forwarding.
  3. Select your phone line if prompted.
  4. Select XFINITY Connect Mobile App and toggle the on/off switch next to your phone line to enable/disable incoming calls.

Note: Turning off inbound calls will disable all notifications for any incoming calls to the app, including the Caller ID feature. After the inbound calls are set to off, all calls to the app will automatically go to voicemail and your app will not ring.

Activate Voice2Go within Xfinity Connect Web

You can also activate Voice2Go within the Xfinity Connect web portal.

Note: If you have already activated Voice2Go for a primary user in the Xfinity Connect app, you'll not need to activate it again in the Xfinity Connect web portal.
  1. Open Xfinity Connect.
  2. Log in using your Xfinity credentials.
  3. Select the Voice tab.
  4. Click the Settings icon Settings Icon, looks like a gear and then select Settings.
  5. Click Voice2Go in the left panel.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn more and activate Voice2Go.
