You may need to change the ownership or management of an account.
Changing ownership is when a new person takes over as the account holder, the account is placed into the new person’s name, and they take full responsibility of the services and billing.
Changing management is when the account stays in the account holder’s name and they remain responsible for services and billing, but someone else is added to the account who can manage most account functions. This includes adding or removing services, porting Xfinity Mobile lines, billing, troubleshooting, and device changes.
In the event that an account holder passes away, refer to What to do when an account holder passes away.
