With other Xfinity Mobile plans, the cellular data speeds on your line may be slower than usual when you’ve reached your monthly data usage threshold, and you are in a crowded area.
Avoiding slower speeds in crowded areas
Sometimes, your phone’s data can slow down in busy places like concerts or sporting events. That’s because lots of people are using their phones at the same time. This is called network congestion.
To help with this, Xfinity Mobile gives you premium data 5G+. Premium data means less buffering and faster speeds, especially when there’s a lot of demand on the network.
If you use all your premium monthly cellular data, your data may slow down when the network is busy. But you’ll still be able to use your phone.
