Life-Size 2

She’s back, and she’s larger than life. This long-awaited sequel to ABC’s 2000 hit movie, Life-Size, has critics and viewers buzzing. Tyra Banks resurrects her portrayal of Eve, a versatile and fashionable doll who turns into a human. Starring alongside Banks is Francia Raisa as Grace, the young CEO of a toy company who’s in way over her head. How will the iconic Eve play into Grace’s hot mess of a life? You’ll have to tune in and see.

Who Do You Think You Are? (Season 11)

Premieres: Monday, December 3

Where to watch: TLC

Genealogy enthusiasts, rejoice! Returning for its 11th season, Who Do You Think You Are? takes celebrities on a journey to learn about their family history. Full of shocks and surprises, it’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. The season premiere will feature acclaimed singer and actress Mandy Moore, and, what can we say? We can’t wait to learn Moore about her!

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Season 2)

Fans are eagerly awaiting the second season of this highly-acclaimed (and Emmy-award winning) hit. Set in 1950s New York, the show follows Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) on her unwitting journey from heartbroken housewife to wisecracking, standup comedian on the brink of divorce. If you haven’t yet delighted in the marvels of Midge Maisel, give her a chance to speed-banter her way into your heart. Don’t forget to binge-watch first season before the second premieres.

Deal or No Deal

You read that right. After nearly a decade on an indefinite hiatus, the game show that made tension entertaining is finally set to return this month. The revival will see the return of host Howie Mandel, as well as some returning models to tout the infamous suitcases. The mystery, the suspense, the chance at untold cash prizes... we’d certainly call that a good deal!

The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition

Premieres: Thursday, December 6

After a rocky third season, the baking competition that swapped heart-pounding for heartwarming is back and better than ever. Based on the beloved English counterpart, The Great British Bake-Off, this American twist comes with a side order of spice. Emma Bunton joins host Anthony Adams, and judges Paul Hollywood and Sherry Yard for this holiday spectacular. Will it be a gingerbread dream or a treacle tragedy? Either way, we can’t wait to see what the new contestants have up their sleeves.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular

Premieres: Friday, December 7

Who says winter has to be a drag? Well, RuPaul does, for one. The wildest competition on television is back (in its new home on VH1), and promises us a wintry mix of fashion and flawlessness. Dust off your pumps, shake out your favorite sequined jumpsuit, and get ready to work. The runway is waiting.

When the creator of a virtual reality universe dies, he leaves his fortune up for grabs to his loyal players – they just have to find it first. The eccentric mastermind creates a reality-defying treasure hunt to reveal a worthy heir, and the most daring among them accept the challenge. From the legendary director Steven Spielberg, this action-adventure meets sci-fi thriller will leave you questioning what’s really “real.”

Fuller House (Season 4)

It’s safe to say the house is about to be fuller than ever. With Danny, Jesse, Becky, and Joey moving back to San Francisco, the fourth season of this Full House spinoff is gearing up to be just like old times. As one of the most anxiously awaited Netflix December releases, we can’t wait to see what’s next for this beloved — and growing — family. The full season will be available on December 14.

Watership Down

Premieres: Tuesday, December 25

Most December movies are centered around the holidays, but if you’re looking for a way to escape the holiday hoopla then look no further. This animated miniseries, based on the beloved book by Richard Adams, will feature the voices of James McAvoy, John Boyega, and Gemma Arterton. They play rabbits escaping their endangered home. Okay, so maybe that synopsis doesn’t make it seem upbeat, and it’s true; their journey toward "Watership Down", a prophesied sanctuary, will be full of emotional twists and turns. The perils, however, are sure to be worth it. (Maybe make sure you have tissues handy, though.)
