The best SHOWTIME shows to stream or watch

  • Kidding
Academy Award-winning director Michael Gondry and star Jim Carrey reunite in this hilarious show about an on-screen personality whose sanity slowly begins to unravel as his family life implodes. Jeff stars as Mr. Pickles, a kind-hearted and beloved children’s TV star known for his wisdom and ability to relate to kids of all ages. On the show, it’s all puppets and fairytales, but off-screen, Jeff’s family life is collapsing faster than he can cope. As he is forced to face the cruelties of the real world, Jeff’s innocent and optimistic demeanor begins to crack in a hilarious (and heartbreaking) way.

  • Shameless
Oscar®-nominated William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum star in this fiercely engaging and fearlessly twisted series. Chicagoan Frank Gallagher is the proud single dad of six smart, industrious, independent kids, who without him would be...perhaps better off. When Frank's not at the bar spending what little money they have, he's passed out on the floor. But the kids have found ways to grow up in spite of him. They may not be like any family you know, but they make no apologies for being exactly who they are.

  • Homeland
This season is rumored to be Homeland’s last, so don’t wait to explore the fictional underbelly of the CIA and its top officers. This fast-paced, highly intriguing thriller follows Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), a CIA officer with bipolar disorder, as she tries to navigate the stress of her high-stakes job while dealing with her own personal and emotional issues. Each season finds Carrie working risky new missions throughout different, war-torn countries, many of which don’t always go as planned.

  • The Affair
Noah Solloway seems to have it all — a beautiful wife, four children, and a brownstone in New York City. But when he casually meets Alison Lockhart at the diner where Alison works, he soon finds himself swept-up in a torrid affair that threatens to tear both of their families apart. Each episode has two parts — one from each character’s point of view — with varying details that expose the mental and emotional effects an extramarital affair can have on everyone involved.

The best SHOWTIME movies to stream or watch

  • All I See Is You
After being blinded as a child in a nearly fatal car crash that claimed her parent's lives, Gina (Blake Lively) depends on her husband James (Jason Clarke) to be her eyes. She sees her world in her own imagination with help from James' descriptions. Despite her disability, the two enjoy a colorful existence in Thailand. It seems the only real hardship this loving couple faces is difficulty conceiving a child, but when Gina is given the opportunity to have a corneal transplant and regains her vision, their life and relationship are upended.

  • Walking Out
Once a year, fourteen-year-old David (Josh Wiggins) travels from his mother's home in Texas to visit his loner father, Cal (Matt Bomer), in the remote mountains of Montana. There, the two embark on their annual hunting excursion, during which the taciturn Cal attempts to connect with his smartphone-addicted son. But when a terrifying turn of events leaves Cal critically wounded, it's up to the teenage David to summon enough strength for both of them.

  • Captain Fantastic
Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, isolated from society, a devoted father (Viggo Mortensen) dedicates his life to transforming his six young children into extraordinary adults. But when tragedy strikes the family, they are forced to leave this self-created paradise and begin a journey into the outside world that challenges his idea of what it means to be a parent and brings into question everything he's taught them.

You have a relaxing weekend of binge-watching ahead! Catch these seven must-watch shows and films, plus hours of sports, documentaries, and original series, anytime on SHOWTIME On Demand.
