Getting Started with XFINITY xFi

XFINITY xFi will change the way you WiFi with a whole new way to personalize and control your home network. With xFi, you can set up your home WiFi and be online in minutes, find your WiFi password, know who's online, troubleshoot issues and even pause home WiFi network access during dinner time.

xFi is available to XFINITY Internet service customers with a compatible XFINITY xFi Wireless Gateway (make and model number Arris 1682G, Cisco 3941T or Arris TG3482G). To determine the type of Gateway you have, check the make and model information located on the bottom of your device or sign in to My Account and select Devices to view the make and model.

If you don't have a compatible xFi Gateway, you can request upgraded equipment. Your order will be processed and delivered within three to five business days and you can begin to enjoy xFi.

Getting Started

Download the XFINITY xFi app for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play, or go to xfinity.com/myxFi and sign in with your XFINITY username and password. You must sign in as a primary or unrestricted secondary user to access xFi. You can also access the xFi web portal from my.xfinity.com. Simply select the WiFi icon from the top menu on the right-hand side.

To download the xFi mobile app on an iPad, navigate to the App Store search settings in the upper left-hand corner. Change the setting from iPad only to iPhone only, then search for XFINITY xFi.
