Help Your Guests Get On WiFi at Your Home

You can give your guests WiFi access in two easy ways:
  1. Share your private in-home WiFi network name and password.
  2. Utilize your XFINITY WiFi Home Hotspot.

Share Your WiFi Information

When your family wants to access the Internet via WiFi, the XFINITY My Account app allows you to share your WiFi network name and password via text message. Click to download for Apple devices or to download for Android devices.

If you already have the app installed on your mobile device, open it and sign in with your XFINITY username and password. Then, simply navigate to the Internet screen, tap Show WiFi settings and select Share.

Connect to XFINITY WiFi

Guests can connect to the Internet using the XFINITY WiFi hotspot network that broadcasts from most XFINITY wireless gateways. By setting up your guests with this access, you won’t need to share your private WiFi network name and password. To verify that you have the XFINITY WiFi Home Hotspot feature enabled on your wireless gateway, visit My Account.

To connect to the XFINITY WiFi hotspot network, your guests can simply select the WiFi network labeled xfinitywifi on their devices and open a web browser to get started. If additional help is required, check out these connection guides.
