Preparation Needed
The instructions will cover the two main steps to setting up your Light Switch: installing your Light Switch and pairing your Light Switch with the Touchscreen Controller.

Equipment Needed:
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver

Note: Only one-way lighting is supported. Lights with two or more switches controlling them can't be automated. Some electrical skill required for installation. Consult a professional before attempting.

Installing your Light Switch
  1. Be certain that you shut off all power to the light switch you are replacing. Turn the power off at your fuse panel.
  2. Verify no power is available to the light switch. When you turn the light switch on, the light should not illuminate.
  3. Remove the Light Switch from the kit and place it in the room where the light to control is located.
  4. Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the screws from the switch plate you are going to replace.
  5. Remove the cover from the old light switch.
  6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws from the old light switch you are going to replace.
  7. Gently pull the old light switch outside the wall switch box.
  8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws that attach the wires to the old light switch.
  9. When all the wires are disconnected from the old light switch, remove it from the wall. Set aside the old light switch, which is no longer needed.
  10. Organize the wires and prepare them by removing 5/8" of their insulation from the end. If too long, clip the exposed wire to 5/8".
