Pairing and Installing Your Camera

Our weather-resistant Camera expands your field of view and even lets you see in the dark with night vision. Learn how to pair and install a Camera to a new or existing XFINITY Home system. You can also learn how to add new devices to a system already installed.

Only one Camera may be paired at one time; if you have multiple Cameras, please repeat this process accordingly.

Note: If your Touchscreen Controller Home screen looks like the one below, tap the More icon (three dots at upper right) to open the More menu, and then tap Settings. Continue with the steps shown in the video.

Pairing and Installing Your xCAM from the XFINITY Home app for mobile devices

The xCAM Camera does everything our previous Cameras did and more! With an xCAM you can now self-install and pair your Camera from the XFINITY Home app for mobile devices. No need for a technician visit (unless you want one).

In addition, your xCAM is compatible with 24/7 Video Recording. With 24/7 Video Recording, you can view video in real time, create custom video clips and quickly scan through 10 days of video clips captured when your Cameras detected motion. Call 1-800-XFINITY to learn more.

Replacing the Batteries in your XFINITY Home Devices

Did you know low batteries are a common reasons for trouble alerts from your system? Replace the battery within two weeks of receiving the alert.
