What You'll Need
  • XFINITY Home
  • At least one Camera enabled for 24/7 Video Recording, connected to your XFINITY Home system
  • Access to the XFINITY Home app for mobile devices

Setting Camera View

  1. Sign in to the XFINITY Home app for mobile devices (see XFINITY Home: Accessing the XFINITY Home Subscriber Portal or Mobile App).

  2. Tap a Camera image to see details and Camera options.
  3. Select a Camera and tap the Settings icon.

  4. In the Camera Settings screen, tap Camera view.

  5. Select a view based on where the Camera is mounted and what's within its field of view.
    • Tap Indoor (default) if the Camera is mounted indoors, or mounted outdoors facing a static view such as a wall or a door. The indoor view is more sensitive to small movements than the outdoor view.
    • Tap Outdoor if the Camera is mounted outdoors, facing a view that may be affected by natural movements such as the wind moving tree branches.
