This article provides instructions on resolving the "VOICEMAIL - XRE 6001" error.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Log in with your primary user's PIN.
The Application PIN is the touch tone keypad equivalent of the first four characters of your Comcast.net password. For example, if your Comcast.net password is spectrum your Application PIN would be spec or 7732 on your keypad. For symbols and special character use the 1 key.
If a password reset is necessary, refer the customer to the Forgot Your Password page and enter your XFINITY username, Comcast email address or an email address linked to your account.
Refresh the app by pressing Exit on your remote control.
Go back into apps, highlight Voicemail and click OK.
Try again in 30 minutes.
