How to Check for a Service Outage in Your Area

You can check the outage status of your XFINITY services by signing in to My Account.

If your XFINITY Internet service is experiencing an outage, you may need to check your outage status from a mobile device or from another location where Internet service is available.

How to Check for an Outage

Sign in to My Account and scroll down to the Services section of the overview page. If there are no outages reported in your service area, your service indicator will say Connected. If an outage has been reported, one or more of your services will display a red Outage status.

Troubleshoot Problems with Your Service

If there are no reported outages but you are having problems with your service, you can try troubleshooting the issue yourself:

Additional Ways to Check for an Outage

  • If you’ve signed up for XFINITY text alerts, you can text OUT to 266278 to check if an outage has been reported. Learn more about signing up for text alerts.
  • You can check your connection status using the XFINITY My Account app. If an outage has been detected, a message will be displayed as soon as you sign in.
