Frequently Asked Questions

What is EcoBill?
EcoBill is a paperless billing option that allows you to view and pay your bill online. Instead of a monthly paper bill, you'll receive an exact replica of your billing statement via email each month.

I just enrolled in EcoBill. Does this mean I will no longer receive a paper bill?
Yes. Instead of receiving a paper bill in the mail you will receive an exact replica of your statement via email each month. You can also view, download, and print your bill online in My Account at any time.

I switched to EcoBill, but I'm still receiving mail from Comcast. Why?
Comcast is legally required to send certain communications by mail, so you may still occasionally receive mail from us.

How will I know when my EcoBill is available for viewing?
A reminder is sent to your email address each month notifying you that your bill is now available. You can also view your last 24 monthly billing statements in My Account.

How do I view my bill?
To view your bill, sign in to My Account using your XFINITY username and password. Once signed in, click the Billing tab at the top of the page. To view your current bill, click View Bill Details (PDF) underneath your recent statement summary.

Can I change the email address to which my statement is emailed?
Yes. A reminder that your bill is available will be sent to the preferred email address associated with your XFINITY account.

To change your preferred email address and what types of alerts and notifications you receive, see about managing the settings of your Comcast email.

I would still like a paper bill. How can I opt for it?
To receive a paper bill in the mail you must opt out of EcoBill.

You can always download and print your own copy of the bill by following the steps to view your bill online, and then clicking on the download or print option at the top of the screen.

How do I cancel EcoBill and switch back to a paper bill?
Remember, whatever bill delivery option you choose, your bill is always available online at any time in My Account.

If you want to revert to a direct mail paper copy of your bill, follow the steps above but toggle EcoBill to the "Off" position.

Why am I being asked for a PIN number?
As a part of our Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) policy, if you have XFINITY Voice service, you may need to provide your four-digit Security PIN as a secure method of identifying yourself when you talk with one of our agents.

You can view your PIN by signing into My Account while connected to your in-home XFINITY Internet network.

If you do not have XFINITY Internet service, your PIN can be delivered via automated call, email (if your account has existed for 30 days or more), or direct mail. If you do not have a PIN, you can sign in to My Account to have it resent. Learn more by reading these instructions for resending your Security PIN.
