Uninstall Norton Security Online or Norton Security Suite

Easily uninstall the Norton Security Online or Norton Security Suite by following the steps in this article.

Note: Norton Security Online is no longer available with Xfinity Internet as of January 1, 2021.

Uninstall Norton Security Online or Norton Security Suite for PC

1. From the start menu, click the Control Panel.
2. Select Programs.
3. Click on Program and Features.
4. In the list of currently installed programs, select the Norton Security product, and then click Uninstall or Remove.
5. If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.
   
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your uninstall preference.
   
   
   
7. Norton uninstaller will run and complete.
8. Restart your computer.

Uninstall Norton Security Online or Norton Security Suite for Mac

1. In the Applications folder, double-click Norton Security.
2. On the menu bar, next to the Apple icon, click Norton Security, and then select Uninstall Norton Security.
   
   
   • Note: You need to be in the Norton Security application window to get the menu options.
3. In the Uninstall Norton Security confirmation window, click Uninstall.
4. Type your Administrator account name and password, and then click Install Helper.
5. Uninstaller will run and complete. In the uninstaller window, click Restart Now.

Uninstall Norton Mobile Security

Android device

1. Go to Settings > Apps or Applications.
2. From the list of apps, tap Norton Mobile Security.
3. Tap Uninstall.
4. Tap OK to confirm.
5. When the uninstall finishes, tap OK.

Apple device

1. On the Home screen, tap and hold on the Norton Mobile icon until it shakes.
2. In the top-left corner of the app icon, tap the "X" icon to delete it.
3. Tap Delete to confirm.
