You might qualify for a bill assistance plan if you have a past-due balance and Xfinity Internet. This plan gives you a temporary discount on your monthly bill for six months. If you're eligible, you'll see the plan option when you sign in at xfinity.com.
To sign up, you’ll need to make a payment or use a flexible payment option to take care of your past-due balance.
Setting up a bill assistance plan
When you log in to your account, you might have a message about flexible payments. Follow these steps to explore your options:
- Select Chat for options to open Xfinity Assistant.
- Select Billing and payments.
- Type “Explore flexible payment options”.
- If you're eligible, Xfinity Assistant will show your options.
- If a bill assistance plan is available, select it to continue.
- If you need to make a payment, a new tab will open. Don’t close the original tab — you’ll return to it to finish setting up your plan.
- Review the plan summary, then click Continue to terms and conditions.
- Read the terms, then click Submit to finish.
If you made a payment, you may get a confirmation email about your payment or the flexible payment option you used.
The temporary discount will show on your bill within two cycles. It will last for six months as long as your service isn’t disconnected for non-payment.
