Learn how to use the Xfinity Home app to remove a device from your Xfinity system. Devices you can remove:
- Light Switch
- Wireless Light Bulb
- Lighting/Appliance/Outlet Controller
- Thermostat
- Door Lock

- Access to the Xfinity Home app

Removing a device
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, scroll down to the device you want to remove.
- Tap the three dots next to the device.
- On the Device Settings screen, tap Delete Device.
- In the confirmation box, tap Yes.

Removing Works with Xfinity devices
Some Works with Xfinity devices require you to connect the manufacturer's account to your Xfinity account in order to control those devices from the Xfinity Home app. If you want to remove all of a manufacturer's devices in one step, you can do so by disconnecting the manufacturer's account from Xfinity Home. The following devices can be group disconnected:
- August Smart Locks
- Chamberlain or LiftMaster MyQ Garage Door Openers
- Lutron Caseta Wireless Lights
- Nest Thermostats
- Philips Hue Lights
- Tiles
