Xfinity Camera image and video storage limit policy

Learn about the limits to store images and video clips from Live Video Monitoring and a compatible camera. Live Video Monitoring is comes with your purchase of an Xfinity Camera or an Xfinity Video Doorbell.

Images and video clips taken by you or created by rules stay in the Xfinity Home app’s Activity tab for seven days. After that, images are removed and cannot be accessed. For details on 24/7 Video Recording storage, see the FAQs.

Limits

Live Video Monitoring has these storage limits:

  • 150 images per day
  • 150 videos per day

Once you reach your storage limit, you cannot record any more images or video clips for the day (even if you delete existing images). However, if you have rules set up to capture images triggered by an alarm, they are still be recorded, even if you have reached your daily limit.
