Media reports indicate that Main Street Sports Group (Main Street), owner of FanDuel RSNs, is preparing to shut down its RSN operations because many of their teams’ broadcast rights reverted to their respective team or league. As a result, Comcast has decided to remove FanDuel RSNs from its channel lineups on Thursday, May 7 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) ET. FanDuel RSNs will no longer be available with Xfinity or Comcast Business. Also, customers may not be able to use their Xfinity ID with the FanDuel Sports Network app.
FanDuel operates 11 RSNs in Xfinity’s footprint, including:

- FanDuel Sports Florida
- FanDuel Sports Indiana
- FanDuel Sports Kansas City
- FanDuel Sports Midwest
- FanDuel Sports North
- FanDuel Sports Ohio
- FanDuel Sports SoCal
- FanDuel Sports South
- FanDuel Sports Southeast
- FanDuel Sports Sun
FanDuel TV is a separate network, and FanDuel Sportsbook is a separate company. Both are not affected by the shutdown of FanDuel RSNs.
FAQs
Will FanDuel RSNs be available with other TV service providers?
If Main Street shuts down FanDuel RSNs, it’s unlikely that they’ll be available with any TV provider.
Will this affect my ability to watch local games?
No. Currently, there are no games on FanDuel because the NBA and NHL regular seasons are over. Depending on the league and your location, you may be able to watch games through a team’s official streaming services or apps, and some games may air nationally. Availability can vary due to local rights restrictions.
You can find playoff games for NHL on ABC, ESPN, TNT, and HBO Max. NBA playoff games can be found on ABC, ESPN, NBC, Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video. And you can find sports news and analysis on NBA TV and NHL Network.
Also, earlier this year, Comcast worked with MLB and the teams who left FanDuel to keep their games on Xfinity TV. Comcast hopes to be able to support you and the NBA and NHL in similar ways. Just say a team name into your Xfinity Voice Remote to find and tune to their channel.
Will you provide credit for the impacted FanDuel channels?
Xfinity is evaluating credit options as Comcast works with the impacted teams and leagues to find out what their intentions are to broadcast these games in the future.
Where else can I watch other sports programming?
Comcast offers a range of alternative content that may offer similar viewing options.
- Networks, such as NBC, TNT, TBS , ESPN, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), and CBS Sports Network, offer a wide variety of sports programming.
- Subscription services, such as Amazon Prime Video, Peacock HBO Max, and others also offer sports programming.
- You may be able to watch games through a team’s official streaming service or app.
- You can also say “sports” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to find other sports programming.
- For specific programs or channels, you can use My Channel Lineup.
- Note: Paid subscriptions may be required for some networks, apps and streaming services.
What will happen to my scheduled DVR recordings?
You can still watch anything you’ve recorded, but your DVR won’t record any FanDuel programming. The FanDuel RSNs are no longer available with Xfinity TV, as of Thursday, May 7, 2026, so there isn’t any programming to record.
