Check for a Service Outage

If one or more of your Xfinity services isn’t working, you can check to see if a service outage has been reported in your area a few different ways:
Note: Sometimes you may get a text message from us to let you know that we’re already aware of the outage in your area, and we’re working to fix it. Make sure you have a mobile number on your account so you don’t miss these notifications.

My Account

To check for an outage in My Account:
  1. Sign in to My Account.
  2. Click the Services tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click the Status Center link.
Services section with the Status Center link at the top

  4. A custom banner message will tell you:
    • If you're in an outage.
    • The potential outage type.
    • The estimated time when the outage will be fixed (if available).
Banner with green status, saying Everything looks good on our end

      • If there's an outage that only impacts one service, that service will show a red status. This means we're already aware of the outage and working to fix it, so there's no need to contact us.
      • If all of your services show a green status, there are no reported outages in your area. If you're having issues with your services but there isn’t an outage, you can try troubleshooting them instead.
      • If troubleshooting doesn't work, you may want to report your issue(s) using the Xfinity Status Center so we can help determine what’s causing it and provide you with more information.
Heads Up: You can also check for outages using the Xfinity My Account app on your mobile phone. After you log in, a banner appears immediately if you're impacted by an outage. Simply tap it to get more details.

If you're a Comcast Business customer, go to our Service Status Center to check your status.
