Add alarm permit number in the Xfinity Home app

It's important to keep your Xfinity Home information up to date to ensure dispatch of emergency personnel. If you live in a municipality where an alarm permit or registration is required, learn how to add or update your alarm permit number in the Xfinity Home app.

What you'll need:

• Access to your Xfinity Home app

Adding or updating your alarm permit number

1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
2. On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Settings.
   
   
   
3. Tap Permit Registration.
4. Then, make one of the following updates with your permit:
   • To add a permit, tap the plus (+).
     
     
     
   • To update a permit, tap the pencil icon.
     
     
     
5. Enter your Alarm Permit Number and Expiration date.
   • If the permit doesn't have an expiration date, leave the Expiration field blank.
     
     
     
6. Tap the checkmark.
