Frequently asked questions
How do I pay for the Seasonal Convenience Plan?
The way you pay your bill will not change while you’re enrolled in the Seasonal Convenience Plan. You’ll continue to be billed in the same way and you can pay by phone, online, or through our automatic payment program if enrolled.
Do I need to return my equipment while I’m on the Seasonal Convenience Plan?
You should keep your equipment in your home while you are away. There are no charges for leased equipment during the seasonal period.
I am currently paying a promotional discounted rate for service. Will that rate continue when I return?
While you’re on the Seasonal Convenience Plan, you’ll be charged the seasonal rate instead of the promotional rate. When your seasonal plan ends, you will continue paying the promotional rate as long as it did not expire. The expiration date of your promotion will remain the same and will not be extended while enrolled in the Seasonal Convenience Plan.
Can I access my smart home devices while I am away?
You can stay connected and remotely control devices like smart thermostats and cameras, including Xfinity Home devices, with the Xfinity Seasonal Internet Access option. If you choose the Internet Suspend Plan, you will not be able to connect to or control smart devices through WiFi. The Internet Suspend Plan is not available to Xfinity Home customers.
